After Pax Prime, we have some new footage of Kenji Inafune’s Mighty No. 9. The footage released is great, as you can see in the video below. It reminds me of classic Mega Man gameplay, which I think is the point in the end. You get a pretty good look at general gameplay, different abilities and boss battles. I suggest taking the time to watch.
Along with the new footage, Kenji Inafune has announced that the beta version of Mighty No. 9 is live for backers who paid more than $80 to help the game get off the ground. To think that people are getting a chance at this as I type this makes me extremely jealous, but I guess that’s what I get for not pouring into the project.
Mighty No. 9 is set for release on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Mac, Linux, 3DS, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in April 2015.
