Konami has released a new gameplay video for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, featuring an all-new “base infiltration” multiplayer mode. The new feature gives players an opportunity to infiltrate a rival player’s mother base, and basically raid them. The other player will stand guard and try to catch the intruder.
Players will be able to customize their own bases’ layout by expanding multiple platform tiers and adding defenses, like armed security lasers and soldiers, turrets, UAV drones, just making the infiltrator’s mission harder to accomplish.
Hosted exclusively by IGN, the latest demo of MGSV: The Phantom Pain offers a similar look at gameplay features shown earlier at Gamescom 2014.
You can check out the new footage below.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is expected to release sometime in 2015 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Steam for PC.
